“Nightlines” is the debut album by Vancouver-based beatmaker Nick Wisdom. Ranging from jazzy instrumental hip-hop to progressive electronic beats, this 13 track album is a collection of his work from early 2010-2011. His style is loungey psychedelic and mellow, with deep bass lines and unquantized grooves providing the backdrop for jazzy/progressive samples and live instrumentation. FALCONS are an amalgamation of many things, a boiling pot of styles and genre-free influence. Consisting of Vancouver/ Oakland based musicians TightMike and KayleoStocko, who’s musical tastes range from world music to southern rap, and everything in between. The only rules and boundaries set on this project was to find a balance between cerebral foreward thinking beat music like we’ve seen advance in LA and abroad, and original dancefloor melting rhythms, ultimately giving the listener a style thats diverse and eclectic to say the least.
