The long awaited album release party for their new “Nkazi” EP is going down TONIGHT at Fortune Sound Club! The new project from the band is the first of many to come and YOU will get the opportunity to see them LIVE tonight joined by the very beautiful & extremely talented Tonye Aganaba… also performing are their close affiliates in Elekwent Folk, and Heatwave & The Vandettas. Tonights show is sure to be a much needed kick off to the new year with DJ Optimus spinning classic hip hop, funk, and soul all night long!

Doors open at 9 and the show starts at 930 so make sure you get there in good time!

Lowpass TV went down to the sub|division 2 year anniversary party at the Waldorf Hotel in Vancouver. We caught up with the nights headliner Kingdom, as well as one of the sub|div founders Chris Longshanks aka Monolithium.

“The Authentic” is the lastest single/video from the new album by the legendary J-Live – Produced by Marco Polo.

Last summer, while prepping his debut album Twirligig, Jonti put together the “Sine & Moon Mix” for the Stones Throw Podcast, a collection of earlier songs he’d recorded on 4-track. In the months since the mixtape, he’s been hit up with requests for the individual tracks, and so Sine & Moon (The Album) came about.
