Georgia Anne Muldrow is a force to be reckoned with, but for those that don’t know who she is let me introduce you. Daughter of the late jazz guitarist Ronald Muldrow, Georgia has developed an a keen knowledge of rhythm and melody. As the first female artist on the Los Angeles based Stones Throw Records label, she is recognized for her beautiful and dreamy but oddly unique vocal style and is known for her early work with Sa-Ra, Platinum Pied Pipers & J*DaVeY. More recently she was featured on the Erykah Badu album New Amerykah Part One (4th World War) on the song “Master Teacher” where she opens the song with her original style and prowess on the beats.
