I’m gonna be hyping my peoples Dj Jr. Flo and Matisse all week for the Vancouver show at Bar None this Thursday February 28th at and pretty much on the regular from now on – so get used to it.

KEYSNKRATES – “We Re-invented the Remix”

Simultaneously representing the raw soul of live instrumentation and the progressive technology of electronic music, KEYSNKRATES are officially here to bridge the gap.

Previously having toured the globe on individual musical conquests, group frontmen DJ Jr. Flo and eclectic Soul musician Matisse are collectively reinterpreting and breathing new life into both classic and contemporary Hip Hop and Electronic music.

Opening for world renowned artists with a unique adeptness to play keys and create surreal soundscapes, Matisse brings an unmatched and distinctive element of melody to the group.

Expressing his artistry through a set of turntables, recognized with innumerable accolades and a dedicated following, Jr. Flo supplies the collective with a level of creativity and swagger that only a certified turntablist/party rocking DJ could provide.

The self proclaimed “Live Remix” artists are something to be both seen and
heard.



Chicago is home to some of the best musical talents in the world. It has its breath held up by the likes of Kanye West, Common, Lupe Fiasco, The Cool Kids, etc. On that unique surface known as, “The City of Wind,” Neak can be found creating his own voice that is becoming very prominent throughout the Chicago hip-hop scene. His smooth/unforgettable sound has caused him to not go unoticed within the hip-hop world of Chicago. With rhymes ranging from his childhood experiences to his current stature, he has been able to captivate the audience like many great MC’s before his time. Headlining at popular Chicago venues such as The Funky Buddha Lounge, Subterrenean, The Silver Room, Elastic Arts, Darkroom, etc. He has been able to gain the type of notoriety that is very well deserved around Chi-City. The future looks very bright for Neak. The hip-hop world just became a better place.
